Abstract

The article discusses Uzbek folklore scholarship, particularly the establishment of Uzbek folklore studies and Professor Safarboy Ruzimbaev’s contribution to its development. The author emphasizes the importance of preserving Uzbek folklore and written literature as a unique part of the nation’s intangible cultural heritage.
