https://nvpublicationhouse.com/index.php/nvlajsshr/article/view/1959

This article investigates how Russian media contribute to the diffusion and nativization of loanwords, combining contact-linguistic theory with a multimodal corpus approach. Building on foundational accounts of borrowing and replication and on a typology of anglicisms, the study constructs a multimodal micro-corpus of media instances (print, web, podcast, and video), applies an iterative codebook and a staged coding regime (first-cycle attribute/ descriptive/in vivo codes → second-cycle focused/pattern coding), and triangulates qualitative case analysis with basic quantitative indicators (frequency, dispersion, morphosyntactic integration). Empirical case studies (e.g. the Spanish-derived “окупас” and the anglicism “триггер”) demonstrate a recurrent lifecycle: (1) introduction with glossing and source attribution in high-prestige press; (2) narrative normalization in long-form audio; and (3) de-glossing and productive derivation in high-reach visual/multimodal genres. The media’s multimodal affordances (captions, imagery, prosody) accelerate both pragmatic uptake and morphological productivity. The article argues that media act as active agents of lexical replication—filling referential gaps and negotiating prestige—rather than passive transmitters of foreign items. Practical implications for corpus methodology, lexicography and media language policy are discussed.
Ernst Ashotovich Petrosyants

https://nvpublicationhouse.com/index.php/nvlajsshr/article/view/2246

This article examines the intricate interplay between memory and narrative structure in three of Kazuo Ishiguro’s major novels: The Remains of the Day, Never Let Me Go, and Klara and the Sun. The study argues that memory in Ishiguro’s fiction is not merely thematic content but a decisive structural force that shapes voice, temporality, focalization, and the linguistic texture of narration. Through a comparative analysis of reflective, repressed, and artificially constructed mnemonic models, the article explores how unreliable narration, analepsis and prolepsis, euphemism, hesitation strategies, and fragmented narrative sequencing reflect the instability, selectivity, and constructed nature of memory. Findings highlight how Stevens’s self-curated recollections, Kathy H.’s systematically fragmented memories, and Klara’s algorithmic observational memory collectively challenge conventional notions of identity, personhood, and emotional truth. The article contributes to contemporary narrative theory by demonstrating Ishiguro’s distinctive linguopoetic approach to representing memory as a fundamental mechanism in the formation of selfhood and humanity in modern fiction.
Eldor Isomiddinov

The article analyzes the difficulties encountered by 5th-grade students in the process of reading and understanding compound sentences connected by negative conjunctions. The research was conducted in three stages: in the first stage, experimental materials consisting of various sentence types were compiled, and the comprehension level of compound sentences with negative conjunctions was assessed; in the second stage, students’ contextual comprehension skills were examined on the basis of negative conjunctions used within a text; in the third stage, their ability to interpret a compound sentence with a negative conjunction presented independently of context was tested. The results show that students make significant errors in fully grasping the meaning of the negative construction “neither…nor.” These errors were found to negatively affect the holistic understanding of the text. The study highlights the role of negatively connected compound sentences in reading comprehension competence and offers important methodological conclusions for mother-tongue education.
Navruzova Xosiyat Izzatullo qizi

https://nvpublicationhouse.com/index.php/nvlajsshr/article/view/1962

Families raising children with special educational needs (SEN) display distinctive relational patterns—heightened stress, blurred caregiving boundaries, renegotiated coparenting, shifting sibling roles, and service-mediated communication. This study proposes a replicable methodology to strengthen family relationships by integrating family-systems theory, the ICF framework, and family-centred practice. The five-step process includes baseline mapping, co-designed relational targets, sequenced coaching and psychoeducation, school–home alignment, and iterative monitoring. Developed via expert review and piloted in community and school settings, mixed measures (Parenting Stress Index, Family Assessment Device, FACES) and narrative data showed clearer communication rituals, more balanced task sharing, improved sibling inclusion, modest stress reductions, and faster parent–school problem solving. Culturally responsive and participation-oriented, the approach treats distinctive features as modifiable, converting service contact into durable relational competence at home.
Saitova Muattar

https://nvpublicationhouse.com/index.php/nvlajsshr/article/view/2242

This paper examines the lexical and grammatical characteristics of binomial adjectival expressions in English and Uzbek, focusing on their structural patterns, semantic relations, and typological similarities and differences. Binomial constructions, which consist of two coordinated adjectival components, represent a productive and expressive type of phraseological formation that reflects both linguistic and cultural dimensions of each language. The study aims to identify the morphological and syntactic organization of such units and to determine their role in expressing evaluative, emotional, and figurative meanings.
Kholmatova Malika IbadullayеvnaJamolova Nozima Abduraxmon qizi

https://nvpublicationhouse.com/index.php/nvlajsshr/article/view/1969

Background: Coping and self-comforting behaviors are critical components of psychological well-being and adaptive functioning [17, 21]. While existing scales measure facets of these constructs, a unified instrument integrating various theoretical frameworks is needed. The Self-Comforting and Coping Scale (SCCS) was developed as a novel measure to address this gap [23]. This study provides a comprehensive psychometric evaluation of the SCCS and establishes foundational guidelines for its scoring and interpretation.

Objectives: The primary objective was to evaluate the reliability and validity of the SCCS. Specific aims included confirming its factorial structure, assessing internal consistency, and examining its relationships with other established psychological measures, such as those for self-compassion and mindfulness.

Methods: A total of 350 university students participated in the study. Participants completed the SCCS along with several validated scales to assess convergent and discriminant validity [25]. Data analysis included confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) to validate the scale’s proposed structure, internal consistency checks using Cronbach's alpha, and correlation analyses to establish validity evidence.

Results: The CFA results confirmed the SCCS's proposed three-factor structure, with all fit indices meeting established criteria for a good model fit [7, 16]. The scale and its subscales demonstrated excellent internal consistency, with Cronbach's alpha coefficients ranging from 0.85 to 0.92. Convergent validity was supported by significant, positive correlations between SCCS scores and measures of self-compassion and psychological well-being [19]. A clear scoring system and preliminary interpretation guidelines were developed based on the study data.

Conclusion: The findings suggest that the SCCS is a psychometrically sound instrument with a robust factorial structure, strong internal consistency, and compelling validity evidence. This scale is a valuable new tool for researchers and practitioners interested in assessing an individual's self-comforting and coping behaviors, offering a more nuanced understanding of these critical psychological processes.
Prof. Samuel K. https://nvpublicationhouse.com/index.php/nvlajsshr/article/view/1960

This article discusses the science of rhyme (qofiya), an integral part of classical Eastern poetics. It examines the historical development of rhyme, the types and positions of rhyme letters, and their occurrence within roots and affixes, using Alisher Navoi and the Ottoman Turkish poet Lamii Chalabi’s Farhod and Shirin as primary examples. The study employs formal and comparative-typological methods to analyze the rhyme groups—such as mujarrad, murdaf, muqayyad, and mu’assas—found in the verses of these epics, offering explanations for their usage. As a result, the paper reveals how rhyme letters function in the works of Alisher Navoi and Lamii Chalabi, shedding light on the formation and structural features of rhyme within languages belonging to the same linguistic family.
Ruzmetov Shahzodbek Ulug‘bekovich
