This article analyzes the factors influencing the formation and development of connected speech in children with special needs, the methodological approaches used in the process of speech therapy, and their effectiveness. Also, methodological recommendations developed on the basis of an individual approach to speech development, the principles of differential education, and modern pedagogical technologies are presented.
