As facilitators of knowledge and values, future teachers must possess the ability to interpret, evaluate, and communicate media content ethically and effectively. This article explores the numerous advantages of developing media literacy among future educators, emphasizing its importance in critical thinking, ethical behavior, inclusive pedagogy, and digital citizenship. Drawing on scholarly views, it illustrates why integrating media literacy into teacher education is essential for 21st-century learning.
